Can i live good in PI?
Back in the PH, that can get you a new car. Had disaster not struck, I would have reached reached that level of life-savings, too. I was so close, too. So, good job on achieving it! Keep saving and keep using your resources wisely!
Is 1million pesos in PHI comfortable living
You can live well back there, but not for long. You'll need more to make it sustainable, unless you're open to working in the PH, too.The more your living-standards are closer to local, the longer your money will last. Whatever jurisdictions you're considering for retirement, visit a number of times 1st to make sure. And look for forums, YouTube videos, blogs, etc. for your compatriots who are already there. They can give a lot of useful info.

But beware of 'fixers' advertising to be your middle-man.Just to be absolutely safe, I'd recommend getting relevant visas from the PH embassy/consulate itself and/or the Bureau of Immigration.www.dfa.gov.ph/.../our-foreign-service-posts-dfahttp://immigration.gov.ph/www.dfa.gov.ph/.../our-foreign-service-posts-dfa
Whoa… It's my fault for posting these without reading them in full 1st. In the Investopedia article, 2claims are wrong:①The 'extrajudicial killings' has LONG since been disproven in a 2016 Congressional hearing televised all over the PH. The case proved so ridiculous the opposition lost all credibility all over the PH. The claim is now only made by foreigners (who understandably don't know any better) & embittered fringe-groups small enough to have been utterly dominated in the last 2019 Senatorial Election, which was a landslide vote-of-confidence for the Duterte administration.②That there is no PH Food & Drug Administration…https://www.fda.gov.ph/It WAS true, since it was the Bureau of Food and Drug. But, it has existed now since 2017. Healthcare is still WAY much cost-effective back in the PH, though.
Of course i still feel its never enough. That can be gona real quick
Its actually not my job. Only make decent money. I only make about $800 pay checks. I always give $300 to my mom as rent. Thats all she asks. I just dont spend. I dont shop like crazy. I dont go for the “new shoes” that everyones talking about. I own only 3 pairs of jeans. Hahah untill it gives up then ill buy another or two new pairs.
I give her $300 every pay check. Technically im bringing only $500 something
That’s nice.. but why do you have to give rent to your mom?
I mean it’s good to give money to parents but why as a rent?
Because she wants me to learn. And she told me id be paying more living out there on my own. (Which is so true) id prolly need more pay or two jobs to survive if i was on my own. Imagine rent, utilities, etc. dang
Ok got it.. it’s a nice move by her... it’s good that you saved up the money. Keep going 👍🏼
