Genuine question: how exactly does one make money as a pastor aside from the likes of prosperity gospel televangelists? I have only known poor pastors who have to work long hours at day jobs in order to survive, as well as keep their church running.
@RickPen my ideas on the bible are unique - unlike others
How exactly could that be monetized in today's world?
@RickPen I could run an internet ministry and collect donations or tithes but I don’t
That assumes people are willing to donate and tithe. Like I'd mentioned before: I've known pastors who must maintain at least one day job because of small churches, and a dwindling number of people. Those who attend are mostly old every case I've seen. That makes me think it's not a very good money-maker, unless one is a salesman about it, which defeats the purpose of faith at all.
