Why are some people so bad with computers?

I mean I am not expecting you be an IT expert by any means but its like at least be good enough to where someone could walk you through and teach you how to do something. I had a LPN as well. I am not trying to be mean but how do you have that level of education and your so bad that you don't even know to click on username to type your username in that box and type your password in the password box. Like that was how bad she was.

I agree I am not that bad

They never went to school for it even in middle school even though its common sense.

I hate it when people make me feel inferior in something I have no knowledge of even though I don't have proof you were mean to here I am gonna assume you were an asshole.

With that sort of behavior, I feel it is less of them being able to comprehend computers but to understand the computer cues. I notice this a lot in other walks of life. People get overwhelmed or inefficient at simple tasks that give directions on how to use it because they do not apply the machinery aspect of tasks. Computers are very one-track things- they work within their system. People might have difficulty following or comprehending the system that's already in place.

Hey @blondfrog I agree with you, I will admit I can work on Computers but I'm, not no expert at all and I admit I have got my hands on my own Computers and ruined them is over small crazy stuff like the Internet connection is always needing repaired on the Computer my Cousin uses but we have Dell and HP and I believe them are not a good brands, I had no issue with Acer

@blondfrog Wow that sounds like my Aunt Barb , when I first helped her to get online I had to show her how to literally use the web browser which was Internet Explorer and how to get on Facebook, She made a Yahoo email and used that and told her to pick a password and write down but don't tell me I feel bad cause we haven't communicated in 8 years so I like to make mends but I had my reasons she was always toxic to me, I don't know who to blame?

I have an aunt like that too. I cut her out of my life. It makes it even easier cause she lives all the way in Iraq.

I mean if you really love her I would try to reach out but other than that you can't really change her personality. Especially once you get to t a certain age. Maybe I am being biased here cause I am young. I mean have you already tried to patch things up in the past? If so then yeah I would say just give up. You know you don't have to black list her and you can go to her funeral and everything but you shouldn't spend time with her either.

I think people above a certain age, who didn't grow up around computers, might have difficulty using one if they've primarily worked in a job that didn't require it. Also, even nowadays some people use their phones for everything so using an actual computer might be tricky. Although even phones require logins, so who knows.

They aren't bad with computers, they have apprehension they might do something "wrong" and cause more issues. They'll usually be bad at technology in general.
