Does economic geology employ petrologist? alos is there any economic geology company?

I haven't heard the term economic geology before and had to look it up. I'd say the answer is yes because my neighbor did it for a while when he was younger. I suspect that all mining, coal, and oil companies employ various types of geologists.

I don't know for sure though. It's something you need to check directly with the companies, or check with university professors to find out where their students are working.
