i made a stupid silly mistake for a competitive internship. i was asked to fill out forms and in the email there was a number to contact if you had questions for it. i kind of skimmed over all that because i was so excited and missed the part about the number. i ended up emailing the person back with my question, rather than calling the number. i hadn't heard back for a few days so i decided to reread the email... and sure enough i asked the wrong person the question. im relatively new to the workforce and how things go, but is this big enough to throw me out? I've heard that theyll just throw out applicants over silly mistakes just to have to deal with less applications and make it easier to narrow it down who they want to take.
