I mean like it’s really though. The only time I saw a dress code for a guy was when his pants had holes in them and my super old math teacher pulled out red duct tape and just taped his pants 🤣. I mean she did that for this girl too when her shorts had a hole in them. It was so awkward lol. THAT HANDBOOK FLASHBACKSGotta go fastOooh them shouldersI mean like basically us girls have to cover ourselves because guys can’t act right. But no guy is ever gonna go, “Wooo look at those shoulders” “Gosh her knees got me weak dude” “Look at that elbow bro 🤤” well I hope not lol
I personally think schools should just make everyone wear uniforms if they're going to make dress codes so strict. My mom had terrible time trying to find appropriate clothing as the junior department was getting more revealing on clothes. Only time they didn't care was prom night. But even though I can wear whatever I want now I still cover up. However if you want something besides hoodies and jeans, my advice would be to wear dress pants sometimes, button up shirts, polo shirts, and graphic t-shirts (you can find some of this stuff in the guys section if you have trouble with the juniors department). The button up shirts for guys might be a little bit bigger, but other than that they're fine.
Society has rules. 60% of them apply to women. The minority of which either compete for attention or way too much into impression management. That's what people think anyway.
I really think same rules should bind boys. If girls need to respect their bodies, so do boys! Society often thinks favoring one over another is the solution.

Then again guys don't wear anything too short too the point it's indecent fr school perspective. Have you ever seen a guy wear something short where is balls are hanging out or his ass cheeks are showing? Forget asscheeks even his upper thighs are showing?
Most of the guys in my school wear full length jeans/pants/trousers or if they wear shorts it's below the knee.
I always get reprimanded by the teachers for my hairstyle or my deodorant or any fucking reason.
So I would say , the grass is always greener on the other side.

I think every school and every city or town is a little bit different...
Wow I thought it said exist 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤦🤦🤦
So, where were we. I don't think so. As far as I can remember school outfits looked a certain way but let me try this
Within formal social gatherings, women wear dresses and men wear suits So it's a natural social fit there but In terms of other things... I look at it this way. If it's expected at a job, it's safe to say it's ok to be expected at school.

Nope. It's not as if the schools have just opened yesterday.
Sure, there can be updates as laws on kids and attire have changed from when those schools were first opened.

Private school you have to wear a dress code but sometimes it’s mandatory to do it for public schools as well.

Here in germany, our schools don't have a dresscode. You can wear whatever you want, as long as you are not completely naked or in your underwear.

I mean you girls would wear a g string and be topless if there was no code. Men dont do that shit, we aren't going to parade around in a thong like a fucking gay. We know to cover up is what gets respected thats why you dont see us do this shit

The teachers don't wanna see girls walk around competing for attention. And they want the school to have a good image. It's not because boys go wild over your elbows.

Depends on why it’s started. Religious fucks think women “seduce” men with flouncy dress. So yes. Although some schools see it as a security measure, as well as symbolizing the equality of rich and poor kids.
