Did/do you enjoy your studies?

Oh gosh! I was an economics major. I hated statistics because of a terrible professor. I'm learning it again, but still not really good at doing hypothesis testing. It's funny because I'm good at using STATA and SAS. Anyway, I'll get better soon. These days I'm preparing for CFA level 1 exam. I do enjoy reading the finance stuff, but studying the material for taking an exam really kills the joy by creating mental pressure to pass the courses/exams. Anyway I did find some courses back in college that I actually enjoyed, but it was mainly because of having a good professor and prior interest in the subject.

I front-loaded all my courses when I attended college. I took my degree requirements first, and my core classes last. IE, I was taking English, math, etc as a Senior.
For some odd reason, they were all a real hoot. I really got into economics and humanities. During my English class, I was not a half-bad writer. Perhaps it was maturity, who knows.
So, yes, I enjoyed my studies.

I did. But I also studied criminal justice (only needed one math and one science class) and everything else was related to CJ.

Nah, it's just one more level of money costing high school v2.0 directing you to jump through some more hoops, exams and course projects. But on the better side it's no longer kindergartening you or calling your parents for saying condom or sex, so basically school for adults without being stigmatized for using 18+ words. One of my school projects for my university was actually an erotic massage parlor web design :> And one professor has even approved if I create IDEF diagrams for sex toys (but I ended up doing something else) and that would account for me passing the class.

I studied computer science and I was hoping we'd learn cyber security, hacking computer systems, how to build a website ETC... and what we got is life safety, even more math, social science, human psychology, marketing basics ETC...

In the end not only did I pass university with a bachelors degree and not ending up with the knowledge I was after but I simply pay with my own money for external courses online and go through them myself. I signed up for cyber security and web development. They're not taught by schools. They're taught by professional companies.

Once I found my subject, I loved it.
I was decent at most stuff in high school, but when I went to uni I discovered what I am amazing at. At that point I was learning 14-16 hours a day and got grades that were the best of my year, doing it all for fun. I was the guy that finished the 9 week long group project in 1 week and everyone else complained they didn't get to do anything 😁

Not middle school and high school, because I was very alone and mocked a lot.
I spent only one year at the university, and it was very enjoyable. I was still alone, but I loved the classes, with teachers knowing what they taught. It was great because they were more passionate and knowledgeable than school teachers, and it made the classes more interesting.
I had that one latin teacher who could speak fluent latin, another one teaching greek antiquity with tons of funny anecdotes.

I can't really decide as a yes or a no - when I think about studying, it's like a chore, but when I'm actually doing it, it's not so bad. I wouldn't choose it over any of my hobbies though.

I'm a yes and no. The required classes I loathed mostly all of. The classes I got to pick I loved 95% of. The ratio of "got to pick" vs "required" was close to 1:7 though for the 156 hours I graduated with.

I found most of them boring and some of them useless.
I liked all the practical stiff though.
