Why do teachers/professors neglect IQ scores when considering who passes their classes?

Professors are giving out studies and information on how to think more critically and analytically. They believe that critical thinking and logical analysis are learned-skills. However, it’s quite obvious that they are more so genetic/environmental skills. They refuse to say anything about IQ scoring because it isn’t motivating. It could upset other people if you just told them that their understanding of the class is primarily based off of their IQ, but maybe I’m missing something.

If grades are going to be awarded on the basis of IQ scores, then why not just allow people to submit valid of proof of their IQ score and the university can mail them a diploma without the necessity of ever attending classes?

Because it’s a matter of knowing the material. However, some material is harder to understand than others. Whether you get it or not is a matter of IQ

A genius is 50% hard work and 50% talent. I will never be able to comprehend quantum mechanics or engineering no matter how hard I try. I also won’t be able to apply concepts in a logical matter nor critically think about them either.

Actually, paying attention matters. As I just told you, if you didn't listen to the material and you've never encountered it before, your IQ is irrelevant. Sure, if you have a higher IQ and you did pay attention, you'll absorb and understand more than someone with a lower IQ. However if you didn't pay attention at all and aren't familiar with the material but another person with a low IQ did pay attention, the person with the low IQ has a better chance of of passing the class.

That is only true for memorizing facts. Critical thinking and logical analysis is a major component for most higher-intellectual studies. That is a matter of IQ level.

Trust me, I know the difference between fluid and crystallised IQ. It's just a reality that no matter how much of a genius you are, if you are unaware of a particular fact and are then asked what it is, you won't be able to answer correctly.
