Hi guys, What do you think about studying in another country?

I personally don't think much about it.

There are enough outstanding schools and other education institutions in my country without me having to support the economy of a foreign country with my funds. I much rather prefer to support the local economy and furthermore, in my country I know what I am getting whereas in other countries, you never know what you are up to.

Also, the problem is more whether a diploma from a 3rd. country will be accepted in my country of if my time and money was a total waste.

Furthermore, there are a whole lot of other potential serious issues going to study abroad. There are really no incentives to do so. Finally, in my country I can study in my language and I don't have to learn yet another foreign language.

If you can do it, do it! I think travel is something everybody should do. Best education of my life was learning the ebbs and flows of different cultures and having to work within that.
However, right now with all the covid crap, it may not be the best time to do it. You may get locked down in a country you don't want to be in. You need to have an escape plan before you go, in case the shit hits the fan. The world is in turmoil. There are riots and political instability everywhere right now.

I studied in Austria for a semester and it was awesome 😎 I got to travel every weekend 😁

I would love to! I’m actually currently applying for my Masters program in Germany after having gotten my 4 year in the US. I’m looking to take advantage of Germany’s free college and work life balance.
