Why do people think wealthy people are lazy just because they don't have a paid job?

I was left a large inheritence when my dad died. I have enough to live on, so I left my job. People only work for the money so they can afford to live. I don't need a job for money. But i'm not lazy at all. I'm busier than people who work lol

I know a few wealthy people (8 figure net worth)

1 still works on a planning level with property renovation
1 still checks on his franchises
1 still works in the film business but he's passionate about it
1 still has an office at his company
1 used to open her shop when she could but unfortunately is no longer with us
