Oh yeah I think I was applied for a co-op but there was a waiting list or some reason I didn't get in until I was about to go back to public anyway.
That was the case for a young mom we know- co-ops are full up, maxed out covid capacity, etc.She has an Engineering degree and now has 3 kids. She just up and started a co-op with a couple of others and it's now 15-16 a week!
Oh that's pretty cool!
Thanks for MHO!
I understand you have ADHD, I do too but I did public school my entire life. What was so distracting that you had to literally leave it
Yeah I was took out cause I wouldn't pay attention
It's hard when we are done with the deskwork in ten minutes and have to sit quietly for another 35- blech.

What if you found a public school that was not politically aggressive, or a home school group where your kids could socialize? Private schools probably are better but they tend to be expensiver too.
My ideal choice would be a public school if they focused on education instead of indoctrination.
Wait homeschooling causes problems later in life? Like what?
Social interaction, the kids will later no be able to deal with other people, I know this from experience with friends and family, they need that interaction or they can't function in society, any society. It's one thing to be awkward or bad at being social, I'm not very social myself but I'm not anti-social either (basically I just need an actual reason to go and talk to people). Also, there tends to be a lack of experiences that the other types of schooling provide through events, field trips, group work, etc. Don't get me wrong the kids may very well turn out to be brilliant, but what's the point if the can't communicate or relate to the rest of the human race?
Well hang on I was only homeschooled for a couple years but I wasn't locked in the house that whole time, I could still hang out with other kids some, and we still went places and did stuff outside of school. You mean some fuckers grow up with no contact with people outside their family or chance to play with other kids at all? Wtf that sounds like isolation more than just a lack of socialisation you'd get at public schools. No wonder their anti-social.
I based my response on the implication that the kids would go start to finish, just to clarify. Yeah, most aren't fully isolated, but yeah they don't get out much. It's usually worst when they're young, because that's when they need the interactions the most. Teens tend to be fine after some experience. You also have to consider location, some people live in remote areas and have few others to interact with. The risk of abuse and isolation are much higher for the home schooled because they don't have that outside connection for help. Granted, there are standards that have to be met for the home schoolers if they wish for that education to count when the graduate.
I thought you could do sports though? I tried to use that to keep from being taken out but he said I could join a homeschool team if I really wanted to. Although I didn't so he could've been lying
It could depend on where you live.
Oh yeah that's true
But not as developed socially
So I guess it depends which you think is more important for a school teach or social.
Mmmm a good balance is good
I think they get a better academic education but are socially immature and unprepared for the real cruel unfair world
I've heard that could you give some specifics just for examples of how it's worse now than before because of liberals? And just curious why that age? Because the curriculum in school or because the development of the child?
Yes indeed leftist ruined it. I would go even higher than that age because that's about the age when they're becoming super indoctrinated especially with feminism.
@ThisAndThat so they teach feminism? Okay. That doesn't ruin the whole school. Just tell your kid why you're not a feminist when they get home and they can make up their own mind. tf are you really on about
@snackthatsmilesback And the problem with that is social pressure and influence aka mind control. What am I on about? I can't stand indoctrination, nor soyboys either.
@snackthatsmilesback That was suppose to read, I can't stand feminist, nor soyboys either.
@ThisAndThat oh yeah because parents never influence or pressure their kids into believing stuff. You know of my friends growing up most of us thought either exactly like or exactly opposite of our parents, and that usually came down to how much of a prick we were trying to be. Just teach your kid to keep a spine beneath their brain.
Un indoctrinating them isn't as easy as you think. Believe me, I have literally pointed at the truth show and tell and it's a very gradual thing getting them to believe the actual truth. Ever heard that expression (It's easier to fool someone than it is to convince someone they have been fooled)? That quote is 100% correct.
@ThisAndThat yeah so that's why you talk to them before the school is trying to indoctrinate them. Of course it's easy to fool someone when you're their only source of information.
I wouldn't let my kids go to a white republican school either. by the way. Just liberal ones are worst
Okay. So what ruined them? Just politicizing in general?
Depends on the school1. Overcrowding 2. Defending programs or not funding programs3. Covert racism 4. Agenda being push such as hypersexuality and Homosexual lifestyle5. The quality if the school evacuation. You are not being taught the same as a private school or charters.6. The over the protection of teachersI just don't expect another race or sexuality to have my child's best interest.
Okay some of those make sense but what's so bad about an Asian lesbian that she shouldn't be a teacher?
She can teach Asian lesbian kids just not my kids
Okay but so by that logic shouldn't all kids be taught by all sexualities of their race until they are old enough to know their own sexuality? Cause what if your kids are lesbians? You of course wouldn't want lesbian kids to have been accidentally taught by only straight people the first like 15 years of their life, right? That would be just as bad as a straight kid accidentally being taught only by lesbians for the first 15 years of their life.
Being gay or lesbian isn't a thing. It's a. mental illness and I intend to have my kids taught by straight black male and females.
Oh then fuck man what makes it a mental illness? I've never heard a good reason behind this accusation and you sorta seem reasonable enough to make one.And by the way mental illnesses are a thing someone can have depression or bipolar that's definitely a thing.
I can't convince you so there no point in showing facts because your gonna deny deny deny. So I would rather you live in your own echo chamber than me disturb
Sure you can convince me! You know how long it took my sister to convince me otherwise? No, you don't, so could you at least please try to give like 1 or 2 reasons why you think being homo/bisexual is a mental illness? I won't even reply again this is my last reply unless you specifically ask me to. I won't bother you anymore. Just go on I just wanna see a couple reasons. I wanna know why you are convinced of that.
milo yiannopoulos, Antione Dotson George takeiWhat do they all have in common
Yeah my friends were still all in school during the day and didn't have as much free time in the evenings because of homework. Getting everything done early would have been great if I could have hung out with them instead of my family the rest of the day.
But public schools are day time indoctrination camps.
@ThisAndThat With what? What do they teach so convincingly that you can't just tell your kid your own side of and let them make up their mind?
They teach falsehoods such as the history of female oppression IE gender studies false narratives etc. And then those thoughts begin to perkulate in the minds of those taught the lies until they lose sight of any truth falling for the Marxist lies. Then they're indoctrinated.
@ThisAndThat lol perkulate
Either I guess.
Online is fine. It’s easier for me. But pubs were also nice. I had a dream not long ago that reminded me of that time all 5th grade classes were taka to Shady Creek. I also met this guy who looked like someone I fought with.
