No. They apologized twice in high school but they would get back to bullying me and my friend after a day or two.
My bullies were a group of "mean and pretty" girls in my class. They bullied me and my friend throughout our high school years. I was a quiet and smart kid but I lost my self confidence because of them. One time, they explained that they don't like us because we're too quiet. I didn't understand why they'd hate us when we weren't doing anything to them. Despite everything, I still managed to graduate as an honor student.
They continued to bug me in the first couple of months in college because my bullies and I attended the same school. Good thing I met good friends who appreciate me and helped me discover my strenghts. Also, I took one of the toughest majors in our school (Professors and students know how hard it is to finish the course.) which helped me regain my self confidence.
Eventually, those girls stopped bothering me. They would avoid walking towards my direction. Perhaps they no longer have the nerve to hurt or to look down on me because I'm no longer the same kid who'd tolerated them.
I studied hard for my family and my bullies. Thanks to them I finished my degree with flying colors.
But if they ever decide apologize sincerely to me, I'd probably forgive them.

I can no longer live in the past. I wasn’t bullied but I was teased by girls over foolish things that had nothing to do with me but more so control over me. The “mean girls”. I’m on my self-love journey not to prove anything to them but to become the better version of myself. I want to heal the inner child within me and apologize to her for the way I treated her. I allowed the words of the past to cloud my judgment and I didn’t see the damage till I had to face reality. I have a life to live and I’m not putting it on hold for anyone.
No. I mean I later got along with one mainly because I nearly died and after I came back from the hospital they threw sand at me from the sand box (luckily looked away in time) I almost went blind from the malpractice already. Ended up calling his mom and she handled him. The main bully he’ll no screw that guy. I’m pretty sure only like 2 have ever apologized to me (that one guy and then one chick apologized last year after like how many years?). I became immune emotionally and physically to pain by 7th grade because the treatment was so bad. Maybe that’s why I still don’t feel anything anymore? Personally, if you’ve even bullied me, been rude to me, or ever disrespect in anyhow these days I shrug my shoulders, walk off, and wipe you completely from memory and remove you from you life.
Rather than focussing on the hard to control externalities, try to look at the painful to admit internals. Ultimately their behaviour is enabled by you. That's true of all abusive situations. Not to speak mean here, but there are often behaviours people take on that make them a victim. Quick-witted, vocal people are very rarely victims to school bullies. It's often the shy, nice and quiet people that lack these bombastic skills that are bullied. In short, because you had not developed the strength to speak up and out directly to them - to tackle them head on without fear - you become a victim. I know that sounds harsh, and I know it is unpopular, but in that way you are responsible for being a victim.
My grandmother taught me at a young age that bullies often have things going on at home that makes them lash out. She also taught me to do what I must in the moment to protect myself but to never hold a grudge because I have no idea what they might be going through. That stuck with me throughout school. Most of the time the bullying was in the form of fighting. I would beat their ass and move on. Sometimes the bullies apologized and sometimes they never approached me again. Either way, it did not really bother me much as I was strong mentally from having been in martial arts and the Young Marines as a kid. I really did not hold a grudge nor did I have any reason to not forgive them.
Ah. Bullies. They seal their own fates. Bullying doesn't go over well in adulthood circles. Sadly, the only bully I could remember from grammar school died of cancer. I felt quite sorry for her because it seemed, at the time, she was TRYING to bully me and pick a fight, that she was angry. Very angry. And I'd done nothing to her. She simply thought she could make me her whipping girl. I walked away. No one was going to manipulate me into a fight over nothing. She looked stunned when I left. I felt quite powerful. And I was. I forgave her on the spot. It was clear something was wrong with her. She was always extra tough. And she never bothered me after that. It's very sad when someone's so confused and hurting. You have to forgive them. Jesus said, they know not what they do.

This whole concept of bullying has created a few generations of sissyboys and weak girls. If someone says mean things to you ignore them, who cares it's only words. Or if you want say something mean back to them to shut them up. If they hit you hit them back twice as hard. That's all you need to know. Worked just fine for my generation a 100 generations before me. Stop being such pampered little limp wristed sniveling wimps and grow a pair!
hahaha. I do actually agree with you. I give my nephews the same advice that if someone picks on them punch them in the face. I had a group of guys in school who bullied me, lasted about a week before I wrecked a classroom with them, broke a desk and a few filing cabinets etc. None of the stuff the school tried worked so...
When I was in school the same thing was going on. It's normal. Kids are competitive and humans are naturally tribal and combative. And kids haven't learned the consequences of their actions or boundaries. It's up to you to as a kid to teach them that you are not a target and they better think twice before treading on you. I had a bunch of kids picking on me at one time every day after school. They always attacked in a pack and pushed me around. One time I caught one of them alone and knocked a couple of his teeth out. That was the end of that. They never came near me again.
Kids need to learn how to defend THEMSELVES and not be such pushovers. It's a tough world out there full of evil. You won't always be able to run to mommy. Learn how to defend yourself. We have to stop raising shrinking cowards.
In high school was female teacher that told me that I couldn't even cry because I am younger lady and they shouldn't cry anymore and start acting like one. I more bullied in college. It was every single the that I got into a relationship a fuel come up to just be friend with just tried to ruin my relationship to get the guy to cheat in my first relationship that I had in college a girl threated me to break up with guy and all because she sent a message about he was cheating. My last relationship. I knew one of different girl likes my guy and always seem to cause drama. I one day she said are you still going out with guy.. I said yes and stop saying that and she got mad me.. I did nothing but tell the truth I didn't get any apologize at. They all blame on myself only because I got the must attention from guys. I was a bully. In 7th grade I had this really good friend. We hung out all the time. Then I had this random kid who was jealous of me start making fun of me for probably a week straight. I got back at him by getting him dentention/iss. But while that kid was making fun of me, my friend who I thought was my friend started to make fun of me an laugh at me with that kid which really hurt me and basically shattered our friendship. I realized he wasn't really my friend and so to get revenge I bullied him. To my surprise he just took it. He was obese I remember making fun of his weight constantly and calling him a brown nose. I did this all through 8th grade. Once I went into high school I never saw him again.
I never allowed them to invade my space in any form or way. I stood up to them, made them feel like shit and they apologized. They even wanted to be on friendly terms with me after a while. I didn't allow that. I don't know what sick mindset they have, but when people stand up to them, they end up respecting those people. I have no clue why.
I had a few bullies in middle school, and early part of high school. None of them have ever apologized, except one, but that was only good for two or three days. I suspected it was BS. Over the decades, I let a lot of that go, and forgiven them. I moved out of that area a couple of years after graduation, so I’d probably never see any of them anyway. I did hear that the biggest bully (he bullied everybody, not just me) died a few years ago. I’m sure he’s in hell now.
One of my middle school bullies actually reached out to me on Instagram and apologized. I forgave him but still doesn't change the damage caused. Glad he's different though. And I don't hold anything against him. Because I understand that I could easily be him if I grew up the way he did.
I had lots of bullies because I was the fat girl people liked making fun of. One day one girl was harassing me with her group of friends. I was having a really bad day and I was sick of it so I punched her in the face giving her a bloody nose. They went off to the bathroom to get a paper towel and they kept their distance from then on. If you stand up to them most times they will back off and pick on someone else.
I've never been bullied. I was a feisty kid and I'd always defend the kids who were being bullied. So i got into a lot of fights with the school bullies..
I'd never befriend someone who'd been a school bully. Even if they'd changed. I sometimes judge people on who they "used to be " because their past is evidence of they're underlying potential.
I didn't have a bully, I had bullies. Mostly boys that tortured me from 3rd to 8th grade. A couple of them have tried to slide in the DMs, but they made my life hell for all those years so I don't really have anything to say. They made me have a thick skin, that's for sure.
I think the best revenge I got was forgetting his name. I actually have absolutely no feeling about him at all. If he approached me in the street I doubt I would have any idea who he was. If he ever apologized I would be perplexed as to why. I only remember that there was one not his name or what he looked like.

No I wouldn't accept their apology , This girl bully me in high school but guess what I make more money then her. I make $80k each year while she is still work at McDonald's earning minimum wage. I saw her she try to talk to me like as if we were friends I called her manager And I got her in trouble that I cought her putting merchandise in her purse. Yeah I got my revenged.
Yeah I had a bully apologize to me after highschool, wasn't even interested so I just brushed it off like didn't really acknowledge it but he was like "nooo but really, I was an asshole, truly, and I'm sorry" like this douche went all in. Actually made me believe him a bit and I was like damn maybe he was just bein a dumb kid and grew up. Later in evening he went back to being a huge asshole to me cause he was tryn to hit on some chick and I was somehow bothering him, just making conversation I don't know dude is wack. Mutual friends say me and him have similar philosophies but fuck this dude, I don't give a damn, I ain't that much of a dick
He saw me after high school and acted all buddy buddy and I recently saw him at Whole Foods before I moved out of state. I really don’t care or remember much but he was a real asshole to me lol I’d prob forgive him because it’s irrelevant now and if anything he gave me good memories of me being the shy girl who wouldn’t be scared to stand up for her friends. I never stood up for myself and neither did my fake ass friends but oh well. Lessons learned :)
Yes I did, I don't know how but we ended up becoming best friends (now we're not friends anymore) but the sad part is that she thinks she was just playing with me, she doesn't know that she bullied me and damaged me and till this day I don't have the courage to confront her.
I'm not a big guy on second chances, I was bullied from 2nd to 7th grade. Not once did I ever receive an apology or forgive a bully in that timeframe. At the beginning of 8th grade, someone started bulling me on my first day. I punched him in the face, later that day he apologized and I wasn't bullied for the rest of that year. Remember kids, stand up for yourself :)
I wasn't tall or 'strong' - there have been attempts to bully me, but I weathered it off with wits. Soon, no one was interested to try any longer. The two or three who were 'worst' once... I could not care less about them, or about their apology. They still crawl in the ditch, while I live an interesting life. I also see no need to 'forgive' them. Dogs bark, and dogs bite - so what.
I had a guy that picked on me. He was 17 in the 9th grade. I don't know why he singled me out but he always was pushing me around and threatening me. I got into weight training right after that. I don't think he ever graduated from high school. I can't imagine his life turned out too great. I never forgave him and I don't know what I will do if I ever see him again. Maybe give him a swirly.
no. i don't have anything to do with those people i resent their past self for what they did to me, though i have forgiven them, as they were children that didn't know better or had issues. they stayed in the small village i've been born in. i left for bigger things.
My bullies decided to make it their purpose to ruin the little social life I had for ages, and were just constantly up my ass waiting for me to fuck up. I mean I was doing that perfectly fine with my personality and definitely didn't need their help. Also nah can't bother to forgive them.
