@KrakenAttackin No not really, Chiropractic assistants work with patients in routine functions such as sign-in and obtaining insurance information, as well as more “hands-on” work. This may include taking X-rays, explaining certain procedures to patients and any necessary preparation, take vital signs and maintain medical records. That means they must learn basic medical terminology as well as how the insurance billing and payment process works. Experienced chiropractic assistants will oversee the work of newer chiropractic assistants in the practice. While every chiropractic assistant functions to some degree as a liaison between patients and the chiropractic, most will also serve as liaison between the chiropractor and insurance companies, computer and software tech advisors, state licensing boards and other entities.
@KrakenAttackin Having your CA is considered popper certification according to the chiropractic board, and long as the CA is operating under the doctor's scope of practice. You can also do massage and other procedures not listed.
I’m not really sure that working for your spouse that you have been married to for a significant amount of time would be considered mixing business with pleasure
it's not a good idea because if you have a disagreement or argument at work or something goes wrong at work you or him are likely to bring those problems home with you in your marriage instead of keeping it seperated
Well it’s not like that would be something entirely new. My husband is already working for my father and is in the works of buying out uncle’s practive
Lol it’s called a family business, many many people have been able to do that successfully. When my dad first started his own practice, my mother worked as his office manager I until she had me. They are still married today’s 26 years later
oh i know family businesses have succeeded it's just rare and hard to pull off. just be prepared for any possible outcome though that's my advice to you
It can depend on playing favoritism, affect the whole business, and sometimes working with someone who you are with is almost too much time that you can view them or more as a business partner than a romantic partner.
There are lots of family businesses out there where spouses and even their children work together. There can be issues with any dynamic between couples.

How can you take X-Rays of a human without having proper certifications? The rest you describe is all admin.

so why would you want to bring that into your marriage for? if anything it's a recipe for disaster unless that's what you're aiming for?
