Who is your favourite singer out of these two and why?

For me it is Taylor Swift. She is my Shania Twain replacement. She has the same playful spirit and PASSION in the background. I loved her song, You Need To Calm Down or Red. IF you want to make a dress look GOOD, put it on Taylor Swift! I just haven't seen that much of Salena. Taylor Swift's face is stunningly beautiful. IT JUST IS! Then she opens her mouth and says or sings something cute or sexy! Like her line in You Need To Calm Down about the ladies that are "killing it!" I think I will catch at least one Taylor Swift concert next year.

Selena... to be honest... I don't know as much about her... I've only heard a few of her songs and I did like a couple but Taylor I like quite a few of her songs. I believe she writes her own songs. I always respect that more than those that just record and perform stuff that others wrote.

I can't stand either as people. But i do like some of their songs. I only own one selena cd plus Julia Michaels sings most of her stuff anyways. she's like another Jennifer Lopez who needed Ashantis background vocals to make good music. Although Taylor annoys me, she has some good ass albums. Red, 1989, and Fearless were amazing. Im considering buying Speak Now. Im not a fan of her 2017+ music (Folklore, Evermore, Bad Reputation, etc)

Taylor for sure.. she is technically a better singer, plus a musician so she knows her music theory too.
I have not heard so much of Selena, but what I did gave an impression of a very bland/not special voice and limited vocal range. Taylor is not that interesting either, but I still prefer her story telling and she has some nice songs I like to sing along to.

Not a true fan of either one but I can respect the fact that Taylor actually writes her own stuff and can play guitar. I've been playing guitar and writing songs since age 11 which is why I can't stand all these famous pop stars who can hardly sing, write songs, nor play instruments. They're just a pretty face basically. For one song they'll have so many writers and the beats are just recycled garbage.

I prefer Taylor's vocals, lyrics and overall content. Her music tells a story, and I feel Selena is lacking in that department.
