I told my my first job working at Wendy's i was going to quit but then they promoted me from Burger boy to actually being on the grill and then promoted me to being working the counter and then from the counter I worked the drive-through
Yeah funny how these places don't want to give you anything while you're a loyal employee, but the second you decide to leave now they want to throw all these incentives at you
No one ever tried to talk me out of quitting. They've all told me that they will miss me, because I've been a good employee, but they realize that moving on is something that everyone has the right to do.
Yes. When I worked at Freddie’s I lasted about 3 weeks. I had my letter in my back pocket t my whole shift and gave it to the manager when I was done. Then he pulled my into the restroom and asked me what can he do so I don’t quit…
Yeah my ex-manager started talking about how she see's me managing the entire team in the future... when it came down do it though she wouldn't even promote me.
Oh awesome. I’ve never been offered medical leave. I would just request a year or two of medical leave and just work DoorDash to make up the difference.
That doesn't happen with me cuz I work for myself , there's no company that I work for. Maybe there are some Record Labels that do such shit but I'm currently independent and I enjoy every minute of it.

By the way did you ask them why they wanted to keep you so bad I'm assuming they were just very short staffed
They are far from short staffed. They know i was one of their hardest workers thats probably why.
Oh then yea that's why!
Yeah funny how these places don't want to give you anything while you're a loyal employee, but the second you decide to leave now they want to throw all these incentives at you
Exactly very sad

Lmao thats funny that you kept a letter
Yeah. It was my 2 weeks notice
I think my jobs mad they didn't get one but i dont care

Damn
No but the that's the glory of self employment
you're your own HR so you can work whatever hours you want, whenever you want
No applications for leave or being sick, you just go
But its a huge risk im not willing to take
I suppose I did start when I was 8
Wow, the HR guy out HRd himself... medical leave gtfo. I would rather pick up a live rattlesnake than deal with those stuffed shirts.
😂😂 And toddy thry’re playing ring around the rosies by not just simply telling me when i’d get paid for the 70 hours of vacay i didn't use
I have always received that as part of my last check.
Yeah when I decided to leave the Air Force, I had a couple interviews and choices of postings to stay in.
Oh awesome. I’ve never been offered medical leave. I would just request a year or two of medical leave and just work DoorDash to make up the difference.
Lmao i dont even need medical leave eo they were talking out their ass
I don’t know. It sounds like a year-long paid vacation. 🤣
That doesn't happen with me cuz I work for myself , there's no company that I work for. Maybe there are some Record Labels that do such shit but I'm currently independent and I enjoy every minute of it.
Thats good
Nope whenever I said I was quitting I quit and signed the papers the moment I said it and left or just straight up walked out.
Im waiting o them to tell me if they're paying out my vacay days so i have to talk to them again tomorrow on my off day
Well here's hoping.
Yes with my last job the 1st time I put my two weeks in, they talked me out of it and at the time the management at excellent former job
Oh wow
Wow. Nice of them to make those suggestions that they couldn't actually follow through with. Lol
Exactly thats how the whole job went day to day
Smh.
Well, I'm glad you're finally free!
The battle continues. You should told them "days only and I want a 25% raise, or I'm taking a walk"
That wouldve never happened. It was a federal job that already wasn't paying us what was initially stated
At this point just leave lol. You've been unhappy for a while now with them
Yea i have reported early yesterday im leaving but im waiting on certain documentation to make it official and they’re playing around
Nah. None of the jobs I had really cared one way or another. Well save the first one, but that placed closed instead of me quitting.
Who hasn't? It worked and it was one of my first jobs.. I lasted another week and then got fired lol
Daaaamn they dirty
Ya but it was a good eye opening expereince
I wouldn't let them. Plus, when i left it was usually a pretty big raise to leave for... usally 2 to 3$ more... one was 6$ more.
Wow thats great
I think you meant tried to talk you out of quitting.
Yes I've had an employer try to convince me not to leave. They offered me a significant salary increase and I'm still working there.
Colleagues have tried to talk me out of quitting never the snakey employers though
The coworkers just as snakey these days
I know I actually work in the HR department now remains to be seen whether they want me to compromise my morals or not
