Why coworker spreading word around to others that I have money lots ( I do have saved up ) but he be telling new people anyone in front of me?

Ugh that is so uncool of your coworker to be spreading stuff like that around without your permission! Who does he think he is?

A few possible reasons he might be doin it:

- He's jealous that you've got savings and he doesn't, so he wants to make you look show-offy.

- He could be trying to make other coworkers jealous or resent you too so they're not as nice. Crabs in a bucket mentality.

- He might have a crush on you and is trying to big you up to impress others, even if it's misguided.

- Or he could be scheming something shady, like maybe trying to scope out if you'd be an easy target since you've "got money."

I'd tell him straight up that you don't appreciate him gossiping about your personal business to everyone. That's rude as hell. Maybe even go to your boss if he keeps it up - that's creating an uncomfortable work environment. Don't let him make you self-conscious about your success either! Keep doin you.

First off. Why does he know this about you? Some things just shouldn’t be told. As for him. Maybe he figures that since you have some money. It would make you more desirable or that he has friends with money. Or the other reason. He is just an A$$hole!

Tell him not to do that anymore cause it's your privacy and it could put your security at risk. Also I'm pretty sure that would go against work guidelines (to disclose a coworker's financial situation).

But from now on just keep that information 100% private, don't let anyone know.
