Would you quit your job if you had to cover for two receptionists?

I work as an office assistant. Part of my job is reception cover so I have to cover for the receptionists when they're on leave or sick.

I have been at this job for two years. We have a chat history so I can go back and see how often we've been away.

In total, I've been away 4 times.

Receptionist #1 has been away 15 times on sick leave.

Receptionist #2 has been away 23 times on sick leave.

Receptionist #2 is practically away every Monday fortnight, then Receptionist #1 is away in between.

I know this is my job but there is only so much you can do.

Receptionist #2 was sick on 28th May and yesterday also.

I went to my manager and all she said was, this is part of your job.

I don't understand how Receptionist #2 isn't fired yet. She started a week after me.

I'm getting really annoyed with #2 absence.

My friend thinks I'm being petty and I should be grateful I have a job, I am but there sick leave is a bit much right?
