Beneath Adult Swim's "Alt-Right" TV Show MDE: World Peace Lies Legitimate Social Commentary

DaddyRollingStone

It's been about a year since Adult Swim pulled the plug on Million Dollar Extreme Presents: World Peace supposedly for their connection to far right politics but their legacy as a television show that pushed boundaries remains.

I'm just going to share with you all a few of my favorite parts of the show. I don't want to do too much explaining because part of the genius in the show is found by realizing their messages yourself. Also keep in mind it is a skit show so the segments are only a few minutes long.

The Man Who Would Never Be... What They Made Him to Be

This is about a man who spends a good portion of his life in jail and refuses to come to terms with what his life is.

How to Make Tap Water

Charls shows you how to make the tap water that the people of Flint, Michigan drink right in your own home. Notice how the one man sitting at the counter is dressed as a prisoner.

Teacher

A high school teacher that isn't respected by his class (or himself) and has no accountability.

Hopefully these videos have caused you to do a little thinking, which was their intent from that start. I am going to leave one last clip, I don't think there is a title to it other than "Outro" but it leaves you with a lot to think about. Specifically about boyhood and masculinity in the 21st Century.

Thank you for reading and watching. Have a nice day and Merry Christmas.
