It"s the Holiday Season officially!!! Within the next week, you will begin to see Christmas Movies and traditional Holiday specials. Today I am going to list some of my favorite Holiday specials. Keep in mind these are 30 minutes to 1 hour long special episodes and not movies.
Rugrats: The Santa Experience (1992)
In this episode, Chuckie reveals he is scared of Santa Claus while Tommy tries to convince him otherwise. Meanwhile, Angelica discovers the Department store Santa is a fake. The adults decide to go to a mountain cabin for an old-fashioned Christmas. In "Gift of The Magi" style, Angelica convinces Phil and little to give up their Reptar doll and coloring book respectively so Phil can have a space helmet For Reptar and little can have crayons. After a bad dream, Angelica tries to make amends, and Santa proves himself as "real" to the babies.
A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965)
The quintessential Christmas Special. Linus' monologue about the Nativity Story is one of the most famous moments from any Christmas special or movie. The Charlie Brown Christmas Tree has become iconic, and Snoopy's Christmas is one of the best Christmas songs. The main theme is even in 1965 Christmas was very Commercialistic, but Charlie was searching for a deeper meaning.
How The Grinch Stole Christmas (1966)
British horror movie icon Boris Karloff narrates and voices The Grinch in the 1966 TV version of the 1957 book. The Grinch hates the Whos and Christmas, so he devises a plan to stop Christmas. But, in the end, he realizes that Christmas isn't about stuff and things, but what's in the heart.
Muppet Family Christmas (1987)
Long before Infinity War Jim Henson's Muppet universes collided in a rare holiday special that only aired a handful of times. The Muppets, Fraggle Rock, Sesame Street, and Muppet Babies all came together for this special to sing carols. The special also includes a cameo from Jim Henson. Unfortunately, Disney owns the rights to The Muppets ever since Jim Henson passed in 1990 and not the other properties so a re-release of this is not likely.
Spongebob Christmas (2012)
The first Claymation Spongebob episode that was a throwback of the '60s and 70's Rankin Bass era Holiday specials. There would be another in a few years which was Halloween themed.
The Year Without a Santa Claus (1974)
Santa Claus comes down with a cold, and may not be able to make it Christmas! so Mrs. Claus and the elves try to get the Miser Brothers to compromise so Santa can save Christmas and feel well again.
Garfield Christmas (1987)
Garfield, Jon, and Odie travel to Jon's Parents' farm for Christmas. Over the time they learn that family is always important and loss of a loved one is always hard at Christmas no matter what.

In this special ALF comforts a sick and dying child, and saves a man from committing suicide on Christmas
The Loud House: 11 Louds a Leapin'
The Loud Family tries to comfort a grouchy neighbor whose family lives far away, so they decide to share Christmas joy with him.
If you catch any of these specials on you should definitely watch these! There are tons of other awesome Christmas specials which I didn't list. Out of all of these I would definitely watch Charlie Brown, the Grinch, ALF, and The Loud House ones.
