This time there was much less a flow and simply songs that I connected with. Some songs I am revisiting from hearing again and others I am rehearing in a new way. It's interesting, a couple years back I would have pushed away some of these songs now they are sweet to my ears. The Phil Collins and Cyndi Lauper for example I would have felt were told boring and slow now I just feel the sweetness of them. Got a few movie selections in here too with one movie of focus being Two of a Kind which is an obscure movie but a really fun one to watch. And I will give one away but I am sure most with scroll down past this text but We built this city, I listened to it and, yes I have felt man, that's over played but for some reason I've felt a new rush with it again kind of like Chicago's Saturday in the Park. This simple lyric kind of tickles me "Marconi plays the mamba, listen to the radio, don't you remember" It's like listening those in our neighborhood and it's saying, don't you remember. Don't you remember, is such a great call, it's telling us to remember and recall what great music and relationships with it that we had in the past. and I posted a Muppet clip because its based on the memory of the 80's. The first selection was inspired by Deadpool and recent outdoor concerts last year but among it's corniness is a an energy that is just pure fun, it was put next to ghostbusters in the outdoor concert and it worked perfectly with the energy. But all that to say. Here are my picks in not particular order. Let's dust off those record needles.
