Doesn't the song "Southern Man" by Neil Young, put Canada against the U. S?

The song is about alabaman slavery or at least slavery in the states in general, and neil young wrote about how Alabama never apologized for slavery. Neil Young is FROM Canada. Lynyrd Skynyrd wrote Sweet Home Alabame in return

  • Crosby, Stills and Nash were sick of him signing out of tune which is why he wasn't on all the albums. Big hypocrite, bemoaning global warming being cause by fossil fuels, while on his 10,000 acre place near Santa Cruz he had a collection of classic cars, most of which back in the day were gas guzzlers.

So why didn't NY complain about the State of Maryland (Northern, Union) where slavery was still legal during the Civil War while the Emancipation Proclamation freed slaves in the Confederate States ONLY?

This is why Canadians are starting to be disliked in the U. S.. they just don't really know history like they think, they just are self-appointed, self-righteous experts calling us inbred racists fucks, all the while these same judgmental Canadians are ignoring the French Canadians' desire to have their own country.
