Does anyone know if a ,500 Smith and Wesson Magnum and a ,50 BMG fire are the same size bullet?

    • the S&W being a hand gun will have a much smaller casing than the BMG which is a rifle. THe rifle requires a much higher muzzle velocity so the casing is larger to hold more powder. Generally the only calibers that use same casing for rifles and handguns will be small caliber, .22
