Boyfriend is (subconsciously) more attracted to me when I'm on my period?

For a couple of months now I've noticed something that kind of surprised me. For starters, my boyfriend doesn't know when I'm on my period because I choose not to discuss it with him. But... whenever I am on my period he always makes comments that he finds me prettier than usual and seems to be in the mood for sex more often. Why is this? Am I making this up or is it true that most guys are attracted to girls more when they're on their period? Thanks everyone! :)

Incidentally, that happens to me, as well.

I generally know my girlfriend's cycle, as she's pretty open about discussing it with me. However, I don't usually know the exact moment she starts, obviously.

We've noticed that I tend to get more... amorous, when she's on it, though. Even when I don't know that she's started. We'll be sitting at home, together, and I'll just get inexplicably horny, being with her.

It's actually become something of a joke/early warning system, with us, lol. If I start getting handsy, or really horny, she'll laugh, and go grab a tampon, because she knows that means she about to start.

Other times, I'll be more verbal, telling her how much I want her, right now, and she'll say she knows, because she's on her period.

That's exactly what happens to my boyfriend & me!! :) I think he has a built in system that just detects it aha and he always gets super horny when it's that time of the month lol :P

I read somewhere that guys have sensitive noses lol and can actually smell when a girl is on her period but don't realize that's what they're smelling :P It's strange hearing that there might be some truth to that lol :)

If you're having sex during your period, how can he not know? Anyway, we can tell when wives/girlfriends are on the rag. We notice your mood changes. Plus, you have a very noticeable metallic smell. He might just be acting extra nice so that you don't fly off on some hormone rage.

You misunderstood what I said lol :) Sometimes he'll want more sex than usual and that coincidentally happens when I am on my period. My personality actually doesn't change when I'm on my period and I hardly ever have mood swings. Plus he makes those comments before he knows I'm on my period
