Which is the better: dragon or wolf?

Question

Okay! So for one of my college courses I need to write about a popular show. I chose Game of Thrones because almost everyone knows about it. In the show there is the wolf and the dragon.. two families or groups of people that represent each animal. I have to basically choose a group to write about.

I honestly love both of them so at this point it really just comes down to which is cooler🤷🏽‍♀️ which would you choose?

I'm partial to Dire wolves. They're obedient, fearsome, protective, loyal, and intelligent. They actually used to exist at one point.
With dragons, I think they're cool and I think that Dany has done a decent job of keeping them under control (mostly) but she made this point in the season 7 finale about how the dragon pit marked the beginning and the end for her family and that was due to the fact that the only way for them to protect their kingdom (after the war) was to lock their dragons up. And by locking the dragons up, they wound up killing them.. But the Targaryens relied on dragons for power and prestige. In the words of Sir Jorah, "Dragons can't tell the difference between whats theirs and what isn't". Dragons are fierce and intelligent but their also selfish and careless about those outside of their "family". I think that's what led to the uprising against the mad king. He terrorized everyone and in a parallel to the overpowered dragons, he had to be brought down. The Starks are starting to work as a "pack" for the first time now and they're one of the strongest houses because of that.

Oh and there's the fact that just about every stark child has showed the aptitude for warging (even Jon), at least in the books, which is pretty much mind control. Bran could warg into a dragon or other person if he really wanted to. The Three Eyed Raven (now Bran) basically wargs through time and space and can even alter history. Aria is pretty much backed by The Faceless God, and Sansa has learned to outwit masterminds like Littlefinger and Ramsey. John Snow (He's Targaryen but he will always back his Stark family) is also favored by the Lord of Light. They aren't as in your face as fire breathing dragons but I think they're a pretty epic team.

I love House Stark, but if you have to write a paper, I would choose the dragons. You can write a much better paper about the symbolism of the dragon and how it relates to certain characters' attributes/powers, as well as the three-headed-dragon thing.

The wolf is a leader, a ruler. He does what's best for his people despite the fact that they may not like it. It's what a ruler does.

The dragon's prime issue is learning how to be a ruler. How to lead. As far as I have seen, she rules with fear, one that comes in 3 forms. Unfortunately for her, she has lost one of them and proven to the world that dragons can bleed too.

Dragons are magical to their very bones. They fly breath fire. They grow as big as godzilla at his tallest. Their intellect is greater then the smartest man in the world. Their only weakness is ego and pride. Wolves couldn't never stand a chance against a dragon.

As a creature, the dragon is obviously 'cooler'. But Jon is a better character than Daenerys, in my opinion.

I think the Targaryens would be more interesting to write about but there is such a big overlap but I think their backstory is better than the Starks

If I were to choose a creature I'd say Wolf. If I were to chose House wise I'd choose the Targaryens.
