Practice makes perfect.
Solo or choir? There's a huge difference.
How good is your breathing?
The one thing that I find to help but I don't hear all that often is doing some sit-up reps to get at least decent belly muscles (can't be arsed to look the proper English terminology up), as they do help with breathing.
I'm starting to get it, breathing from the stomach, just the really long notes need more practice
Yeah, they're always an issue. That's just practice though. It really helps. Over time one will be able to slightly lower the amount of air necessary to hold a note and also will start to have a slightly larger air reservoir.
I'm also taking lessons to work on all the technique, I'll get there
Well, I hope so. What do you want to do when you're able to sing? Professionally or show off at karaoke night? What kind of singing? Opera, or …?
Professionally, rock music
Okay, there gut get away with a lot more than in more traditional singing, though you need to spend more time working on the voice.
Yeah I'm working on getting as much power out of my voice as i possibly can
