One I liked very, very much but didn't find the ending so satisfactory was Hereditary [which is not a Shyamalan film] [...]
One that annoyed me so much was The Rich Man's Wife (Halle Berry thriller). It annoyed me even more that some people thought it was a great ending because they couldn't see it coming. Of course, no one could see it coming; it was completely out of the blue and nonsensical. A good twist ending as I see it is one that leaves lots of clues behind so that you're left with like an, "Aha! I didn't see that coming but now it's so obvious!" like The Prestige. The Rich Man's Wife's ending was more like, "WTF! That doesn't make any sense! The whole film misled everyone the entire time!"
