Could you elaborate why?
Your sexual orientation is your private business. It doesn't need to be broadcast... and it doesn't serve a point. That's the thing that the gay community never got and what set them back for a long time. There are a lot of people who don't give a shit what you do in your bedroom, but your business is your business. You don't need to make others disconcerted about your behavior or confusing their kids about it.
Oh sorry but then you probably don't know much about drag queens. It actually doesn't has much to do with being gay. There are also straight people even though most aren't. It doesn't really has anything to do with what they do in the bedroom since they don't dress like that at home but only for shows and it also doesn't have anything to do with sex or sexuality. It is a type of performance art. It started back then in Shakespearean theaters when women still weren't allowed to act so men dressed up as women.Nowadays women are obviously allowed to play at the theater but drag still is a way for people to express themselves.
I don't care about the origins of drag queens.I just do not want to be near them...... see them...... or hear them.
BUT, I can accept when they are characters on television.John Inman was hilarious in drag... but he wasn't always in drag.
Sure it's okay to have your own interests as long as people let others live their life like they want :D
Exactly. As long as they're not hurting anyone everyone should just do what the fuck they want. Life is very short.
The roles that women would play in the entertainment industry.
Have you ever seen or heard of Ballet Trockadero? ↗
How do they "take away" jobs from women. It's not like women are now not able to do ballet anymore because drag queens took over it. Also it's kinda sexist in my opinion to say that men aren't allowed to learn ballet. Does that also mean that women who work at the police are taking away jobs from men or what?
They are taking female roles from female ballerinas. Men have always had ballet roles; but how many women are filling those roles?
That's one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. It's not like there are extremely many drag queen ballet groups and they're now all talking all the jobs away or something like that. Also they are only an extra ballet groups. It's not like professional dance schools now take in less women since so many drag queens are applying. They didn't take something away but made up something new. Show me some complaining ballet dancers that can't get a job because of drag queens and I'll take it back
a drag queen downvoted you
