Do You Still Play Classic Board Games?

I frequently play Risk & Stratego on my phone, occasionally chess & some card games or mahjong. When I play on a physical board, it's usually Stratego, because it's easy to set up & easy to play; few people know how to play chess & I'm not fond of checkers, and Risk is too much of a pain to set up.

Yes I tried playing both online, but it's just not the same. Also, being able to sneak and cheat is half the fun.

I'd play them if I had people to play them with - I can't trouble myself to socialize since it involves cleaning up the house and dressing up and self monitoring and filtering my speech - I've ignored basically everybody who wanted to be my friend in real life

I play backgammon, chess, Parchesi, Sorry, and a few that some may not have heard of, like Stratego. I like games of strategy.

Sometimes. But my tastes run to the more modern stuff: sit me down with Agricola or Blood Rage, and I'm happy. Maybe Twilight Imperium or Viticulture if we've got a little more time.
