What do you guys think of the PS5?

There's not really anything to play on it atm. I have a PC, so I've just been playing everything on there. So far, I haven't seen any reason to get a PS5. Yeah, maybe when there are more games and a price drop, but right now, it seems best to just stay on PC for me.

I stopped at the PS4 I won’t be getting a PS5. There aren’t any major upgrades for the PS5. The graphics, storage are the same as the PS4 and they didn’t make it backwards compatible as most PlayStation fans would have wished. I see no hype in getting the PS5. I have the PS1, PS2, PS3, and PS4. I like the Xbox my best friend has better. I just want to get the Gears of War red limited edition and the limited edition Gold PlayStation for my console collection.

It just looks weird. I haven't truly gamed since 2014 aside from occasionally playin Forza Horizon 3 like one month a year after that. I stopped buying systems after ps3 and xbox one. But i bought my sis a switch lite for Christmas cause thats all she really wanted. She put it down same day and said she no longer wanted it. So i took it over and yea that thing is a pain. After a week of play, it gives the worse handcramps

The only ones I ever had was PS1 and PS2, I never wanted to get the PS3 so I didn't go forward from PS2

As cool as the controller is, I find it too uncomfortable to want to use it. I would rather use the Xbox controller, and Sony's exclusives don't really appeal to me so it's not like I would want to put in the effort to gerry rig some other control set up. PS4's controller was alright... definitely felt better than the PS5's

I am waiting for Sony to release God of War Ragnorok 2 on PS5 and it dropping to $400. $500 is a bit too much plus there's the $70 games though if I get the PS4 version which is $10 cheaper, I get the PS5 version for free when I upgrade. I have a PS4 so even if I got a PS5, I would probably just play my PS4 games. I do want to get one in the future but don't have the money saved up.

Got my PS5 before launch (job perks). It's incredible what they have done this generation. The console runs dead silent unless you load up a disc. The SSD is by far the biggest improvement performance wise. The controller is the best part about the PS5. I have both the Series X and PS5. I like both for different reasons. PS5 is definitely more of a next gen upgrade. The hardware is mind blowing. GET THE PS5.

It's a bit hype at the moment as it really only has two games which use it's new technology. Everything else is still PS4.

Price drops in everything happen after a few months. Non-availability of PS5 is keeping price high at the moment.

I think most modern consoles are a piece of crap, full of updates, no offline co-op play in most of their titles, and last for a very short period of time before they release another one without many reasons as to why they do that except that it's more money for their greedy pockets

Looks really cool but I'm more of a PC player cause I don't do well with consoles, especially since in play FPS games mainly and I need a keyboard and mouse to play well.
If I could get one, I'd love to try the Spiderman game on it.

Its a nice piece of hardware, but most anticipated games were delayed so i don't mind waiting for a pricedrop or restock.

I am hopping to get the xbox. One big reason is the Microsoft Flight Simulator. They also offer a payment program. But are still out of stock.

I couldn't care less about it. I've never liked the Playstation controllers, so I never got into them. Hell, the only systems I have are an N64, and the Switch I got my oldest kid for Christmas.

If I'm going to game it's going to be on PC.
