This is a major trend. Disney is going crazy with it. And for the most part... not bad. We have seen some big wins like Attila battle angel. And some tragic misses like ghost in the shell. I have great trepidation for the up coming akira. There have been so many. And we have the special effects to make it work. Or not work. I mean Justice League looked like a video game.
What cartoon/anime should be made into live action?

I am truly hesitant about live action makes when the originals were timeless classics to begin with. I will admit I like the idea of Cowboy Bebop, but I am very concerned with who will direct it, how it will be written and handled and how much it will stay true to the content for live adaptation and if it will be something new or what we got for the entire series.
Especially with the way media and progressive SJW crap gets pushed into everything, I would rather keep the classic the way it is than watch something else I love get shat on and left for dead.

He-Man could be dope (says the heavily biased 80s kid lmao). But I feel like you could do a lot with that since all the characters kind of have a theme about them, the costumes would be cool, plus creating Eternia as a backdrop, with Castle Greyskull and Snake Mountain. I just don’t know how it would play with today’s kids. I think they tried live-action He-Man in the 80s and it was a flop, but I think the technology is good enough now.
The live action He-Man movie had Dolph Lundgren as He-Man. Skeletor was also surprisingly really scary in the movie. I loved it as a kid, but I haven't seen it in ages, so I'm not sure how well it holds up today. It tried to be a more mature take on He-Man like the first TMNT movie was in the 80s.
Although on one side I REALLY want to see the manga done too and think I could be done with that (it's the only thing I consider close to a masterpiece, between all books, Mangas, films I've seen)... Having a really GOOD adaptation to Anime (or even better a good live action with quality CG) would be just surreal. Some of the best animated fights ever would be born, overshadowed only by the scenic shots, hellish designs and amazing characters portraits (or the equivalent of those in an animation)
