Are there any other good FPS out there?

Question

So I've finally gotten my hands on the PS5 and I've been stuck on destiny since launch. I normally play whenever I've got the free time to catch up to old friends and new. Gotten tired of the PvP content and looking to explore similar, if not better competitive games out there. Any good recommendations out there?

Apex Legends... it’s free and by far the most fun I’ve had with an FPS in years. Probably since the original Halo trilogy days... The gameplay is incredible.

I've heard about it. Never been big into those battle royal types. Maybe need to check it out.

It’s a very winnable style of BR... there are ways to spawn back in if you die... the game does a lot to make you feel like you’re never too far out of the action if you go down early. Games feel like they go by quick too. It’s like every possible criticism you have for a BR style game, they thought about how to address it. Definitely worth a try.
