Could Thanos have used the time stone to move the avengers before they got their powers?

Like in Doctor strange, when he uses the time stone to move the apple through time, couldnt thanos have used that same thing to move Wanda pre-hydra experiments, and Cap pre-serum, etc? Couldn’t the avengers have used it to age Thanos out of existence?

I think that's asking a bit much of the time stone. Like Thanos had no idea who they were, how they became who they are, and even what they were doing ( especially in end game) most powerful thing we ever saw the time stone do was create a time loop that lasted, what, a few seconds? Okay, I guess bringing vision back so he could get the mind stone may have been more. But even that was just a few seconds and Thanos was right there when it happened. Taking dozens of people back to their childhoods or whatever when he had no idea who they even were sounds like a bit much.

Good point! Yeah I was thinking of ways Vision could have been brought back for Wandavision and saw that since he had a mind stone in him, that maybe there could be other stones from other timelines/universes. And then I remembered that Tnanos thing. Now that you mention it, I guess the apple thing would only have been a couple weeks too! And not the years it’d take to revert them pre-powers :)

Besides when you have a character with ultimate power there is no threat anymore, no struggle. To be defeated there would need to be some absurd deus ex machina. That's why Superman is such a bad charicter. He is ultimately powerful, untill the kryptonite showed up and he is a little bitch. There is no struggle, no threat, just a fight that is unwinnable untill it's easy.
