So Xbox Gold and given Resident Evil 1 Remastered for free this month...
I figured I would try it out and see if im interested in going down this rabbit hole

If I do enjoy this game
what would be the next step? Resident Evil 2? Resident Evil 0?

and would any of the novels by S. D. Perry be worth trying?

Do the games in order, it is chronological. Then go back and read the books, and don’t expect it to be the same. It isn’t. It’s a separate canon.
