Do you like Operas & Classical Music?

It baffles me that there are people who don't. It has a reputation as being stuffy and aristocratic, which isn't always unwarranted, but I'd like you to take a moment to look up Jaques Offenbach. Just look at that picture, and TRY to tell yourself you wouldn't want to go out drinking with that guy. Then look up his best-known composition, the Infernal Galop, from Orpheus in the Underworld (it's a song you already know, but not under that name). Now reflect on the fact that if he knew that was how he'd be remembered, and what would be done with that song, and TO that song, he'd be happy about it.

There's more to the Classical genre than the creative mathematics of Mozart or the incarnated awesomeness of Beethoven; would that we had the sense to teach our children that.

Oh yes. I did this last week, we did rent a cabin out in a forest, snow, it was between -12 c and -22 c, the sun was shining under the day, LP player with my lp collection, my pipe and edward tobac, my wife and a cup of devine coffee 👌 . Classical symphonies is my go to relax music since i was 14.
