I've been playing guitar for a little over 2 years now and I'm adding piano and violin into the mix and I'm ordering them tomorrow. Guitar and piano are simple, put your finger here and it makes this exact note, but violin makes me feel like a neanderthal. How do I know what note I'm playing? I half deaf (no joke) and I don't have good pitch. Will a fingerboard sticker help? Can I put my tuner on the violin and tell me the note I'm playing? I don't have access to a teacher, but I learned guitar with only the internet I'm sure that I can do the same with violin as well.
Should I put a Don't Fret sticker on my violin? If not, how do I identify notes without good pitch?

Yeah but not forever, if your just learning how to play use those stickers to help you get a feel and then after you've gotten the muscle memory down take them off.
Since when your playing you shouldn't be looking at your strings, you'll need to be looking at the sheet music and well if you show up to a band with stickers on your instrument makes you look like you don't know what your doing.

Violin is just for that who have qualifications for hearing. So you know what is talent.
