thanks for your good answer
Cheers! I think I'm also much more of a visual person than a musical one, so I like a whole lot of soundtracks. I tend to enjoy a song when it evokes imagery in my head. It might also be why I have such a tough time narrowing down my preferences since each musical genre has such a unique mood/feel and imagery I associate with it: everything from flaming guitars for metal to classical operas to jazz bars to the ghettos of Brooklyn.
can you suggest me ost?
This is tapping back into my nostalgia but I love the soundtrack for The Guest (2014) along with the film. It's actually kind of a basic and straightforward thriller film but it uses synthwave for the music and that gives it such a unique feel for that sort of film.
what do you think about masked ball?
I don't think I'm familiar with that one. Is it a film?
no its a song. Jocelyn Pook - Masked Ball. This song is very creepy.
Oh, from Eyes Wide Shut! I am listening to it now and I like it! That's definitely a creepy feel and accompanying scene. When it comes to that type of mood, I really like Wounded Warsong from Silent Hill OST.
i m afraid this song haha
Excalibur (1981) OST is one I absolutely love that ties so deeply into the imagery for me. Also Romeo and Juliet (Zeffirelli's from 1968).
I'm in love with Catholic Church songs
I like those as well including and especially the ones that date back to the Renaissance. One of my favorites is "Remember O Thou Man" (1611) from Thomas Ravenscroft. I can't post links yet but there is a rendition on YouTube I like from Harry Christophers. Shows up at the top if we search for "Remember O Thou Man Harry Christophers".
crucifixus is a masterpiece
i will search your suggests
Just gave Crucifixus a listen. I'll have to add it to my playlist. I love this style of music since it evokes such powerful imagery for me related to the Middle Ages and Renaissance. I love those periods of Western history and tend to always search for films and books and documentaries about that era along with music.
