Yeah I was out of school a few years too early but I know what you mean for me it’s like Beverly hillbillies and father knows best and old westerns that remind me of good times they were shows my grandma and mom liked to watch I don’t have a lot of good memories from my childhood but I liked watching these shows and still like them just don’t see them very much anymore
I wanna rewatch myself to see if i understand it as an adult because i didn't as a kid
I can't believe none of these people have never seen it wow. This was like the go to cartoon in school

If I remember right, that show loosely had wolverine and rogue being a thing at some point, because his regeneration countered her lifesteal. She ended up with gambit though I think, who could also counter it for reasons I don't remember, it's been ages since I saw that show. The movies tried going that direction but it was awkward becuase in the movies rogue was much younger.
By the time rogue is the age she is in the 80s cartoon, wolverine is about 200 years old, so he's old enough to be a grandma's great great grandpa. No matter who he picks they will be many generations younger than him.
Yea apparently a lot haven't. Had our librarian and teachers not showed us, we probably wouldn't have known either
