My little, baby brother and I were both in the living room and watching TV. We were home alone and then my mother came in the kitchen from work. From the living room, we heard her slamming things and cursing in German. I walked to the kitchen doorway that connects to the living room. I looked to see who she was talking to but no one was there but herself. She wasn't even on the phone. I was surprised to see her complain to an invisible person.
She looked at me and jumped back. I asked her what's wrong but she was scared to answer me for a moment. She got a hold of herself and then asked me what I was doing in her living room. I told her I'm watching TV with my little brother. She said that's not my little brother and I'm not her son. She told me I'm that big monster in her house that needs to be killed right now because I'm the source of all evil. I was like, why? I'm a straight A student and I do my chores without whining. I didn't get in trouble at school and I'm a good kid at home. She didn't believe me. She told me that I should be slain.
My little brother was confused and he started to cry. I got really angry and told her that she's going crazy because of all of this is ridiculous. Now that's when she finally lost her temper and pulled out a long, sharp knife from the knife block.
So that's when I picked up my little brother and I ran into the room that had the telephone in it. I locked the door and I picked up the phone to dial 911. My mom kept trying to break through the door. A 5'11", 190 lbs woman was trying to break through the door! She eventually broke through the door!
She cut me several times and I started to bleed. Luckily the police came in on time or otherwise she would've killed me. My mom has emotionally scarred me many times before that incident, but this was the worst. I have never been this hurt by the person I'm supposed to trust the most.
After that incident, my mom went to a mental health hospital and she was diagnosed with Schizophrenia. I never thought that any of my family members would be affected with this mental disorder and I never thought I would ever be the victim of a murderous person with schizophrenia. If my mom killed me, she would've been not guilty by reason of insanity...
