Is it normal to have different 'personalities' or 'masks' in different social settings?

OR does it mean that you're fake, or a people pleaser, or a psychopath/sociopath?

For example:
Being more polite in one social setting, or being more funny/offensive in another.

OR with some people, having to really think before you speak & change what your going to say, in order to not offend people.
Yes it's normal
