Either by name or "móðir" and "faðir," originally in Icelandic when I was a toddler, in English now. Pretty much the same exact language as far as those 2 words are concerned.
Momma/Mom and incarcerated/Missing
Mamá (mom) , papá (dad). With the accents, and those would be the equivalents (because mama and papa without accent pronunciation is also used by some people here and therefore it's different way to refer). Sometimes I call them by their names, but not that often as papá or mamá. When talking about them to a third person I say madre/padre (mother/father). When I was a child I would sometimes call them mami/papi (mommy/daddy).
Mom and Dad. That's what I've always referred to them as. Pop seems too casual, mother and father seems like they're uptight, mama and papa seems like something I'd say when I was 5, and mommy and daddy have been too morphed in my mind to think of it any more than something with a slightly sexual connotation (because I've seen a lot of kinks like that and trust me I've dated somebody who had that kink).
I speak Spanish and I alternate between names for them. For my dad, it's usually Pa, or Padre. For my mom it's a little more childish in that I will still ocassionally call her Mami. But usually go with Ma or Mom. I don't know, it's a combo of things lol
My mother is mom or mother. My father is dead, and he wasn’t around much before he died so I don’t really talk about him.
"Maman" for my mom and "Papa" for my dad. We speak French so we use French terms. Which are basically mom and dad in English.
Mum and dad, lol. Sometimes I call mum MammaJamma or Mio Madre or just mamma. And I call dad bro sometimes but he finds it weird 😂 But sometimes when I'm getting sentimental I call him Papa or Toku Mātua if it's a deep conversation.
