Why some parents underestimate their children if they are not perfect?

Most parents want their kids to be able to grow and face the fact that the world isn't fair.

Underestimate the kids to hope that they know what is it like to lose and to improve but parent's execution is usually very poor.

1. Some parents bring their kids down because they pity their children. Its not just underestimate but they are ashame of their children.

Now thay would bring children spirit down. Not a positive move.

2. Not all parents are well-educated and well behave. The struggles in their life create stress that could be unleash upon their children. This could be another cause for underestimation.

3. Parents judge their kids all the time because everyone wants a good life and want their kids to strive for it. But it would never be achieve because it is such a far-fetch goal. Comparision doing its work.

This makes the kids felt isolated and jealous and might lose the will to get up.

4. A kid will find his/her way to light their way up if they have a motive, a friend, a personal experience that families won't understand. They cut their own chord to adapt to this world.

Because they want to live their dreams through their kids. And when the kid doesn't "pass the first obstacle" as in a way the parents want, they underestimate the kid.

Having a child is like watching your personality flaws displayed in front of you. Some people don't like to be reminded of them so they push their children to be better than they were.

They probably still remember wiping their kid's ass from poop.
However, they forget the kid can wipe their own.
