Were you ever teased as a kid/teenager?

I was teased in elementary school mostly due to one of my neighbors (also a kid my age), decided to start treating me like shit and the other kids jumped on board immediately because kids are like that.
Got teased and physically assaulted frequently in middle school because I wasn't well socialized (moved around a lot as a kid and didn't know how to get along), was always the new kid, and dressed weird (family was poor). Still have scars from the beatings I took.
Got teased a bit in highschool, but by that point I was starting to grow. I started lifting weights and training at an MMA gym so I could stop being afraid all the time.
Sophomore year I fucked up another kid who was messing with me. After that, no one messed with me again.
I haven't taken shit since.

yeah a lot of people either thought I was mute, so they would gasp whenever I spoke, and then the girls that knew I spoke didn't like me, I think it is because I was too happy with myself even though I really hated myself

I was teased a bit in grade 7 and 8. I was a tomboy and didn't give a shit about what I wore.. everyone else seemed to though lol
