Omg you sounds like me... I used to stick money in my sister in law's ashtray in car cuz she and her husband didn't smoke... So before she'd get home, I'd leave a message on her home answering machine..."check your ashtray" and then just not answer my phone for couple hours 🤣🤣
Lol, I have done similar things. I just like to give it my all before asking for help. My dad always told me that he couldn't help me if I couldn't help myself.
Sometimes I see like a mom struggling with her kids behind me in a drive-thru and I pay for their food. I ask the person at the window to stall them long enough for me to ghost before they make it out of the drive-thru.
Let me edit my first sentence
The question is whether people are refusing when you ask for help or whether you aren't asking for help.
That sounds just like me... All my life I've heard how strong I am, but I'm human and have my weak moments too
Ahhh yes someone who understands! It’s really tough when everyone has that kind of expectation from you. But look at it this way - we must be really strong individuals for our friends to depend on us and see us this way.
I dont do friends and i hardly trust family. Im used to my mom/grandma/grandpa veing ungrateful. They see me being 21+ as my time to pay them bacj for all theyve done. They feel they dont have to do much anymore and it annoys me
