Do you think these are good rules for family (and friends)?

These are excellent rules. Whoever made these rules for themselves and follows them must be a person who is highly disciplined, moral, ethical and a person with lots of self respect.

These rules to me indicates that this person must also be selfish but in good ways only and also a person who is ruled by head, ruled by logic and rationale and a person who cares and values themselves a lot.

All in all excellent rules.

I think these are all fair boundaries to have. I personally would choose to be more open but that's more of my personal preference. I think if families had this level of respect, things might go nicer. It's good to have equal love and respect in the family

Did you steal that or "borrow" it from my rule book 🤣 We're in 💯 agreement here... I have friends that are more family to me than "actual" family who thought because we're "family" they could shit on me my whole life... They could choose to do so, and I could and did choose not to deal with it.. Toxic is toxic, related or not..

They are excellent rules to follow. I definitely had to set boundaries with my Nonna. No one is gonna steal my joy. Family or not.
