Is it common for psychopaths to have a fake life to clean their reputation?

Psychopaths are perfectly aware of what society considers right and wrong, they just don't see it as mattering. They also tend to be smarter than average. As such, they can easily pretend to be moral for any given audience. It wouldn't surprise me that the worst thing that anyone could do is see through them.

I'd say it's a common desire for any person to want normalcy. I'd say for most it would not be preferred to tell them you were a murderer in the past. I would think it's kinda like the witness protection program. I think Paul murdered Jews or at least helped to murder them, did he want to bring that up every sermon? But I think it would be key for them to be a changed person. For them to simply not change and have the same life would be living a fake life. For christianity, it's about second chances for a new life, to change and become a new person

I think historical cases tell us that you can’t necessarily tell someone is a serial killer. Or likely to become one as some become serial killers if they are involved in gang crime , some become serial killers if they are just normal working class individuals. But then again I’m no expert in criminal minds.
