How to end a long term friendship with a female friend?

How to respectfully end a long term friendship with a woman whom you love but the friendship turned toxic. This friendship caused me to be stressed and bringing my mood down. Constant accusing of replacing her, tries to control who i talk to and always wanting to know who i'm talking to and why. I'm just tired of it at this point. It's gotten worse this year. I also work with her too. Things things that happen in our personal life she brings it to work.

How do i end this friendship respectfully?

Will this solve my problem of having her bring personal matters to our work place? If i end the personal relationship can't mess up our work relationship. Right?

Simply understand the reason why she's behaving that way. Number one. She's behaving that way because she sees you more than just a friend. She is sexually attracted to you, she more likely wants to date and sleep with you, and when she sees you with other women she gets jealous because she expects you to fall in love with her. She ain't caring about some friendship. A woman that cares about being a friend would not behave that way unless she have probable cause. And it doesn't sound like she has probable cause for her to be having that kind of behavior. Even if that was the case, she doesn't sound stable. And for that reason for your sanity, do what it is that you got to do. No questions asked with her. She needs to understand that she has to respect your boundaries and she has no right to try to dictate or control your life.

She told this girl who she didn't like but knew i liked that i wasn't talking to her. She told me and i spoke to her. But we been having nothing but problems on her end.
