Would you feel guilty if your grandparent die saving you?

Anonymous
This is exactly what my friend has been struggling with since last year. Her paternal grandmother (her last remaining grandparent) died saving her from an accident. She placed herself right in front of danger and managed to shoved her away at the last moment. The lady was a healthy 79 year-old and would've lived longer.

My friend is in her 30's and used to be happy about still having a grandmother alive. Now that's gone and she still feels guilt.

She was briefly alive and then succumbed to her injuries, dying right after my friend came to see her. According to my friend, she died in her face.
