Should I be grateful for basic things my child father do?

My child’s father tells me I should be grateful for the things he do for our kids. Like buy milk and pamper but I feel if you the father, that’s what you suppose to be doing, I shouldn’t have to be grateful for that. Am I’m wrong?

Yes - I think one issue is people think they can erase the bad things they do by doing good things and it’s not true - your duty is to do good things - your not offering anybody a favour by doing it

Definitely shouldn't be grateful he provides bare bones necessities for kids he helped create. Don't want kids? He should have wrapped up.
