My roommate never cleans up?

My roommate is always in her room when she is home. She never cleans the living room or kitchen or takes out the trash in the kitchen. I’m always taking the kitchen trash out. She says that she is never is the living room or uses the kitchen and I’m always the one using these areas (which is true).

But if you soley use/mess those areas, then I would think it's more your responsibility. Does she help clean the bathroom, which I'm sure she uses? I agree if the trash is coming from both of you she should help take it out. Sometimes it helps to have a cleaning schedule when living with others

On one hand I love when people make a mess & blame it on the dog & on the other hand your roommate might be a slob. The only way to rule out the roommate is if she moves out & if the place is a mess after she moves out you may want to buy a dog to blame it on.
