Yeah I would. False rape accusations are much more common than most people realize, and society already loves to "convict" people in the court of public opinion. Why should I just add to that problem.

Innocent until proven guilty. If he was a person of interest it will be in the back of my mind, and I will wait and see if he pops up as a suspect again.

I would look into if there guilty or not. Find out there side, the other person's side, look at the evidence what's more likely etc. If it's likely my friend did do it no way would i.
